I first shot a handgun when I was nine I think. I remember being in 5th grade and finding my Dad's .38. If my memory is true, I shot at a wasp that was in the house.
Imagine if you will a chubby nine-year-old boy in the kitchen of a trailer house with a police-issue 38-calibre pistol in his hands, trying to shoot a wasp. It is terrifyingly hysterical.
